Creative Movement
Our youngest students will learn the concept of participating in a class setting including how to follow directions and remain safe, while learning the art of beginner dance and acrobatics.

Acrobatics
Acrobatics in dance is a performance style that blends classical dance technique with precision gymnastic and acrobatic elements. Students will learn how to use their strength, balance, and technique to perform acrobatic tricks and tumbling skills.
**Students will be placed in beginner or intermediate levels based on both age and skill set.

Dance
Students will participate in classes based on their ages and preferred styles. Families can choose from various styles including ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical and pom.

Billing & Payment Policies
Tuition is spread evenly throughout the year—10 monthly amounts are calculated from the annual class totals, meaning some months may have 5 weeks, others may have 3 weeks.
Due by the 5th of each month.
Late fee of $15 applies after business hours following a two day grace period.
If payment not received by the 15th of the month, students will not be permitted to take classes.
**While we make every effort, we cannot be responsible for sending reminders of due dates for tuition.**
No makeups or refunds will be given for missed classes.
In the event that another 30 minute class for your students age has an opening and fits your students’ schedule, they MAY be able to take this as a makeup (this requires permission from staff prior to attending.)
All payments must be paid through our JackRabbit Parent Portal.
To withdraw, provide written notice two weeks in advance—or remain liable for the next month’s tuition as spots are held for enrolled students. If you withdraw without notice, refunds will not be given for paid tuition.
In the event that a student or family is dismissed for behavioral concerns, tuition paid for the current month will not be refunded.
Performances and Costumes
Winter Charity Show- Location and Date TBD
Students in both our Performance Program and Competition Teams will perform in our Annual Holiday Charity Show.
All proceeds from the show will support a local charity.
End of the year Recital
Our end of the year recital is scheduled for June 12th and 13th, 2027.
Students should plan to attend all performances with their classes.
In the event that you are unable to attend, staff must be informed by March 1, 2027.
**Performance Program families will be asked to volunteer at one show during the year- Winter, or one of the spring recitals to help with coverage backstage. In the event that we do not have enough volunteers (parents are given a ticket to another show in exchange for their help), students could be required to sit with their families and will require a ticket.
More details will be provided when recital info is released.
Costume Payments for End of Year Recital
Measurements and orders begin in December.
Deposit: $40 per class (estimated 50% of costume cost), due by December 31st.
Full payment due by the end of March 2027. No refunds or cancellations once ordered.
In the event that you inform us you are not able to attend recital by the March 1st deadline, and you have paid costume deposits, money applied will be credited to your account for remainder tuition payments.
Communication Guidelines
Primary communication is via email through our main email info@Mpowerdancecompany.com
Emails may also come via our JackRabbit Parent Portal.
Please do not use our studio Directors’ or instructors’ phone numbers or social media as a main means of communication.
Please allow us 48 hours to respond to non emergent concerns or questions.
Teacher Communication
We value our class time with all students. Please do not use class time to address instructors.
If you have a question or concern for your student’s instructor, please email our main email at info@mpowerdancecompany.com and we will forward the concern or address as needed.
If you would like to schedule a meeting with them outside of class time, this can also be arranged.
Inclement Weather
Class cancellations will be announced via email and social media (Facebook and Instagram).
Every effort will be made to cancel with ample notice (2 hours prior to start time) but with instructors often traveling, this can be difficult. Classes will be held unless notice of cancellation has been sent out.
If more than two of your classes are cancelled throughout the year due to inclement weather, we will make every effort to hold another class to reschedule or allow students to make up by taking another class similar to their skill and age level.
